The B-s2,d0 classification describes how a material behaves when exposed to fire:
- B: low contribution to fire development;
- s2: limited smoke production;
- d0: no flaming droplets or debris.
This classification applies to the materials or systems tested. Final approval always depends on the project context: building type, location, planted area, supports used and the requirements of the fire safety consultant.
